There are several reasons why we are making this free trial offer. The most important is that it is our service to Jehovah. But there is also a practical financial reasons as well.
Our costs must be carefully controlled. Very honestly, it costs less to mail free books than it does to add high marketing costs in order to sell them. Giving books away free is our least expensive means of distribution.
Nonetheless, since 1998, we have distributed almost 110,000 books using this method. Only a small number of the total books distributed have actually been sold.
